There was an error registering the application in your tenant.
The EasyForm Mailimport process requires credentials to access the mailbox to import.
An Azure application registration needs to be created in Azure such that the MailImport process can perform authentication requests to Azure ActiveDirectory and request access to user resources such as email.
You have the choice between creating a MailImport Azure application registration in your own tenant, or to consent the application that Recomatics has created its tenant.
This page allows you to give consent to the Recomatics applications.
The MailImport can access the mailboxes in your Office 365 tenant by granting it access to the Exchange Webservices (EWS) API and granting it “Delegated permissions” or “Application permissions”.
Select the prefered authentication methode and login with an Azure admin account on the Azure tenant where the mailbox to import is located.
With “Delegated permissions”,
the application will authenticate itself using OAuth2 with the username and password of a user account in the O365 tenant. The MailImport application can only access the mailboxes that the user account can access.
With “Application permissions”,
the application will authenticate itself using OAuth2 with a client secret that is associated with the application registration. The MailImport application has full access to all mailboxes in the O365 tenant. In EasyForm you will configure which mailboxes are for import, but from a security point of view, the application could access all mailboxes.
